“If we think about staff vetting or pre-employment screening, there's usually a bit of a fluctuation - there are either loads of contingent workers or loads of perm staff. And that's been in a state of flux, so the market's been a bit unusual where things have moved around a bit... In property we can see the Edinburgh market is just constantly on the go. There's never really a dip, it used to be seasonally, but now it goes like a train... But in our sector, we've been growing fast for the last five or six years. We've always been growing, we've been doubling, so we've kind of bucked the trend. And the people who are in our orbit are in a similar position where we are an early stage, fast growing technology business... Things may slow down externally or around you, but you keep growing. So, people like us who are providing software as a service type product, they're growing, and I think, the climate around that, like funding and so on, that's changed as well”.
