Welcome back to our Meet the Team Monday series, where we continue to showcase the incredible individuals who bring Le Bas International to life! If you missed our last post, make sure to check it out here to meet Tracey Deakin and learn about his remarkable contributions!

Today, we're thrilled to introduce you to Patrick Hampton , our Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer! Born & raised in Dublin, Patrick moved to the US in 1987, working for Brendan Tours in LA. Patrick is our numbers guy, CFO, and IT genius (he holds an Associate Degree in Computer Science)!

Patrick Hampton and Peter Le Bas originally owned a limousine brokerage together, looking after VIPs and a short while after, they joined forces with Tracey Deakin to create Le Bas International over 30 years ago!

Patrick loves spending time with his wife Becky, his 2 children - Erin & Ryan, and 2 grandchildren - Gemma and Holland. Patrick is also avid cyclist & racer!

We asked Patrick a few questions - see what he had to say below!

If you were an airplane, what type/model would you be and why? 

  • Lockheed Hercules - slow and steady...can fly for ages.

The Lockheed Hercules C-130 has aerial refueling capabilities allowing it to extend it's flight duration significantly.

What's the most unforgettable charter flight you've been a part of, and what made it so special?

  • Without a doubt, providing uplift to evacuate people after Hurricane Katrina. The scale of the operation and it's impact on helping the folk of in New Orleans.

What's your favorite in-flight snack or guilty pleasure when flying?

  • Hands down, dark chocolate 🙂

What is your favourite thing about working at LeBas International?

  • Simple - the can do, will do attitude and camaraderie, and satisfaction of being part of a great group of humans.

What's something that maybe none of your colleagues know about?

  • I can't touch my tongue to the end of nose, however, I've had the chance to race the the Isle of Man TT back in 1987, summit and stand on the highest point in the Western Hemisphere in 2002 (Aconcagua 🗻), and help raise two g-children while dad studied to be an Orthopedic (by far the most important 🙂).
