It's just a post production...

In the wonderful world of motion pictures, post-production plays a prominent role. To get the best quality for your money, it is important to speak the same language with the creators of post-production. At first it doesn’t seem like a “rocket science” but the lack of common language may cause problems indeed. In the long run, you can save a lot of time and money by investing a little time and energy to formulate the tender clearly and precisely form the post production point of view. It makes easier to make bids for post-production companies, and for us, it makes easier to evaluate them. It is also important to accurately assess whether the received bid is relevant to the issue and whether it is in line with the current market conditions. In addition, we must make sure that the person who would get the job is actually capable of it.

As the head of one of the leading post-production companies and as the president of Hungarian Post-Production Association I have faced the problem ‘What does the customer think…?’ numerus time. The inaccurate wording of tenders, the unclear naming of tasks make the evaluation process and the choice of the appropriate professional/company difficult and slow. The tenderers often designate a task which cannot be interpreted in terms of post-work. In this regard, the easily priced tasks are which based on day-to-day practice or which can be performed on certain tools and softwares that conforms professional standards.

I can help you in the followings: interpreting the brief and divide it into real post-work assignments, form which I can make a well-structured, easy-to-understand tender documentation that each studio can easily and accurately interpret. Furthermore, I examine the tender participants’ professional background and competence, and evaluate the received bids - both professionally and financially -, and I make a proposal for the winning work. Thanks to these, we get a transparent, quick and cost-effective tender that provides the best possible result.
