Japan Richest People Ranking 2020

Tadashi Yanai, founder of Fast Retailing Company, the owner of the Uniclo apparel chain in Japan, tops the annual list of the richest people published by Forbes Magazine for 2019. According to Forbes, Yanai and his family have a combined net worth of 24.9 billion.

According to the 2019 Forbes Japan Rich List published on Thursday, April 11, Yanai’s wealth increased by 29% or 6 5.6 billion in 2018 from .9 24.9 billion.

He removed Masaoshi Putra, chairman of Softbank, from the top spot, although Softbank registered a stock gain that increased the boy's 2019 fortune from 2019 2.1 billion in 2018 to ২৪ 24 billion.

Forbes compiled the list using data from individuals, stock exchanges, analysts and government agencies, among other sources. For the 2019 list, the minimum requirement for individuals to make the list was $ 900 million, down from last year's minimum of 60 960 million.

Based on Forbes criteria, the 10 richest persons in Japan are:

  3. Takemitsu Takizaki – $18.6 billion
  4. Nobutada Saji – $10.8 billion
  5. Hiroshi Mikitani – $6 billion
  6. Yasumitsu Shigeta – $5.4 billion
  7. Takahisa Takahara – $5.2 billion
  8. Akira Mori – $4.7 billion
  9. Shigenobu Nagamori – $4.5 billion
  10. Hideyuki Busujima – $4.45 billion

"Despite earning 5% on the Nikkei index, 31 of the 50 lists have lost their net worth since a year ago," Forbes said in a press release from its Singapore office, adding that as of March 22, the country's 50 richest people were worth $ 1.6 billion. US dollars.

There are four newcomers on the 2019 list of 50:

  •     Takahisa Takahara of diaper firm Unicharm – No. 7, with a net worth of $5.2 billion
  •     Shintaro Yamada of online auction firm Mercari – No. 33, with $1.3 billion
  •     Toshio Motoya of budget hotel chain APA Group – No. 36, with $1.2 billion
  •     Masaaki Arai of Tokyo-listed real estate firm Open House – No. 49, with $930 million

Forbes said there have been "significant drop-offs" here, including that of Japan's first self-made female millionaire, Yoshiko Shinohara, whose share price fell more than a third in 2018 from temporary employee firm Parsol Holdings.

Founded by robot maker Cyberdin, Yoshiyuki Sankai is the richest man in 2019, losing 50% of its share price.
