Job Opportunity: Survey Party Lead in Lacey, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Survey Party Lead (Transportation Engineer 2) to support the survey activities of the Olympic Region and the Right of Way Plans Office, leading a crew for field mapping, staking, Right of Way data acquisition, and survey data processing. This position provides quality survey data, which is required as a first step to develop engineering and eventually construction plans for WSDOT. The survey data provided improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the Washington State’s Transportation system by providing the data for contract plans development. The Survey Party Lead is expected to exercise initiative and judgement in carrying out assignments according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
