Salary to suit based on experience

Flourishzone is an AI Tech For Good business, building an innovative machine learning platform that enables people to fulfil their potential and create better organisations.

We’re backed by over £1m of investment and are working in partnership with The Hartree Centre, national experts in AI and High Performance Computing.

We’re looking for people who will excel at working in a small team and relish the opportunity to be instrumental in developing a life-enhancing product.

We’re a family-friendly (life-friendly!) company and are delighted to consider flexible and remote working.

We’re looking for great developers with around 3 years’ experience who excel at several of the following:

  • React Web and React Native
  • Python
  • NEO4J
  • AWS (EC2/Elastic/Cognito)
  • Django/Flask
  • Docker
  • CI/CD – Drone
  • Testing frameworks for Python and Javascript
  • Typescript

The general competencies we prioritise are:

  • Being customer and solution focused
  • Creating clear understanding of requirements and delivering on commitments
  • Being a team player
  • Continuous improvement (interested in always upping own game and helping us do that as a team)

Key responsibilities include:

Following architectural guidelines and developing clean code.

  • Developing within any part of the system – front-end, backend, database, orchestration
  • Following development processes, committing code to branches and ensuring regression tests and quality controls are applied (within a continuous integration / continuous deployment framework).
  • Contributing to Scrum meetings including sprint planning, sprint review and daily stand-ups; ensuring timely delivery and accurate estimates

It would be great for candidates to have a BSc or above in Maths, Physics, Computer Science or Electronic Engineering. However, this is not essential.
