📣 GLOBAL NEWS ROUNDUP

OSHA has updated its Hazard Communication Standard to align with the seventh revision of the UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. Effective July 19, changes include revised criteria for hazard classification, updated labeling provisions, and enhanced safety data sheet requirements. These updates aim to improve hazard information clarity and ensure comprehensive labeling, especially for small containers. Chemical manufacturers, importers, and distributors must comply by January 2026 to July 2027, with full implementation by January 2028. For more detailed information, visit the full article here.

June is National Safety Month, sponsored by the National Safety Council (NSC).
