Lean In Leeds Breakfast Club – this is why we do it!

It was all started by some feedback on a survey at the start of 2019. Our community of 675 members were asked how we could best serve them, and the idea of Breakfast Club was born!

I organise Breakfast Club with the amazing Zoe Bowles, with support from the Lean In Leeds steering committee, topics so far have included Imposter Syndrome, ‘Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover’ and ‘Trailblazers – Be the Change’. The final event of the year was last week, where guest presenter Rebecca Dalzell led a session on goal setting, taking a look back at 2019 and forwards to the new decade!

Here’s what our community has to say about Breakfast Club:

“I really enjoyed the session, it gave me a boost to my confidence level!”

“Love the events. Really inspiring and boosts me for the following week!”

“(I love) hearing from other people and sharing experiences – we are not alone!”

“Lean In Leeds is fantastic and it’s a breath of fresh air to come each time!”

Lean In Breakfast Clubs have a more intimate vibe than our evening events, and we come together to support each other through stories and connect through shared experiences.

We've been kindly hosted this year by Barclays Eagle Labs at Avenue HQ in Leeds.

Join us here to hear about all our events, next Breakfast Club will be in January.
