  • 👠 A new Legally Blonde prequel has been announced and is set to release on Amazon Prime sometime next year. A teaser posted on TikTok by Reese Witherspoon revealed that the plot of the show will follow Elle Woods when she was a normal high school teenager. 
  • 📱Speaking of TikTok, the short-form video platform is testing a new feature for posts on the platform: collaborations. It’s predicted that this feature will allow creators to tag up to five others to make a collaboration post. Users will be asked to approve being listed as a collaborator and will be able to remove themselves from a collaboration retrospectively.
  • 🏙️ Over in the Big Apple, limited edition Metro cards featuring rapper Ice Spice have taken over the subway. The cards were made in anticipation of her new album, Y2K, and only 50,000 of them were produced. Lines to get them were seen throughout subway stations, with some used cards selling for over $100 on eBay.
  • 🥤Just in time for Summer, Sprite has released a new line of beverages known as Sprite Chill. Referred to as “The Coldest-est in the Game”, Sprite Chill adds a hint of cherry-lime to the brand’s signature lemon-lime taste. The brand also partnered with basketball star Trae Young, affectionately known as “Ice Trae”, to hype up the release.
  • 🏈 Finally, football season is (almost) upon us. Earlier this week, the NFL revealed 2024 schedules for all 32 teams, with each team putting their own unique spin on their schedule release. The Chicago Bears parodied Ferris Bueller’s Day Off to announce their opponent. Meanwhile, both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles leaned into different social media trends to announce their schedules. Last but not least, the Tennessee Titans conducted street interviews with non-NFL fans to have them jokingly identify their 2024 opponents.

  • Liquid IV x F1 Miami: In celebration of the third-ever Miami Grand Prix, Liquid IV launched their “Race House”, which featured huge on-site brand activation, several hydration stations, samples, gifting, and both influencer and celebrity attendees.
