“Is Lyft finally going to get its Karmic Justice?”

After ten years of law breaking, predatory business practices, and “manslaughter” policies against its drivers, passengers, and bystanders, the long lazy arm of justice may finally plunge Lyft into bankruptcy. It falls far short of the deportation of its board of directors to the middle of the Pacific Ocean, that I would have preferred, but I realize I can’t have everything now, can I?

After four years of exposing all their abuse from the inside, as a top tier driver, and after Lyft doing a “loop around the rules” by firing me for “alleged” racism, justice is long overdue.

In a mostly unaware and ignorant nation that is too busy hearing the marketing hype of founding partner, John Zimmer, rather than reading real information about his antics, I suppose its natural that the company was able to run its con this far. Lyft has been a menace to a society that could have healthy alternatives if we looked for them.

In the end, we have this very rich blithering idiot trying to “explain,” or should I say “excuse,” the inevitable crashing of Lyft’s stock. Still, Zimmer himself, made bank, and we only have our informationally overwhelmed selves to blame, because that’s how our arbitrary system of “injustice” works. Not only should we say, “buyer beware,” but we should also say, “driver beware, passenger beware, pedestrian beware, and investor beware!” As in the case of smoking, will any amount of warning labels stop the user from using?

As a society, we’ve been way too busy reading junk and observing stuff to take physical action in this lifetime. There are too many fires burning. At least this time, perhaps one will be finally snuffed out along with all of the wasted investment in the company.
