May 2024: Who bagged the biggest private biotech rounds?

May 2024 was another relatively good month in terms of private biotech fundraising.

Although less money was raised overall than in April, May still saw the same amount of funding rounds take place, with 35 in total. 

And an impressive $2.4 billion was raised from those rounds, making it the second-best month for fundraising of the year so far.
