Your monthly Kognic updates have finally landed!

We have some exciting updates to share with you about our new product features, articles and upcoming events.

Improved dataset filters

We've changed our data structure and interface, making it easier to filter in different ways. This lets you filter on values from different sensors, which is especially useful for exploring datasets.

We can now make changes at the dataset level more easily. This includes updating filterable properties like the name, unit, and sensor.

We've also added the option to make custom filter categories and choose which histograms to show and sorting options to use. This is a big step in our goal to provide more personalized dataset exploration options.

Introducing the Annotation Integration API

This tool serves as a public gateway for integrations into the ground truth production pipeline. This development aims to automate quality control and generate reviews, detect errors, and establish a seed to generic workflow integration. Key features include the ability to reject delivered annotations, correct only functionalities (without follow-up reviews) and compatibility with legacy workflows. Building autonomous vehicles with (almost) no labels

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Holger Caesar, an Assistant Professor in the Intelligent Vehicles group at TU Delft in the Netherlands. Holger, known for his work in autonomous vehicle perception and prediction, shared valuable insights into the complex process of building autonomous vehicles, particularly the development of perception systems.

He also discussed the evolution of these systems and the promising future of techniques that require little to no human labeling. We are grateful to Holger for sharing his priceless knowledge and expertise with us. Read more about his visit and presentation here.
