Founder Jim Brisimitzis at the Big 5G Event in Austin, Texas:
We are thrilled to share that our esteemed Founder, Jim Brisimitzis, attended the Big 5G event in Austin, Texas, this month. Jim had the opportunity to moderate three engaging panel discussions covering a range of crucial topics:
The panels provided an excellent platform for industry experts to share their unique perspectives while fostering meaningful connections with conference attendees.
Despite this year's event experiencing lighter attendance compared to 2022, it was an incredible experience. Jim had the chance to reconnect with colleagues from Amdocs, Ericsson, Intel, Nokia, Cisco, and BAH. We extend our gratitude to all our alumni who attended and actively participated in the event. And of course, the Texas BBQ was simply outstanding!
Accelercomm raises series B funding:
We are delighted to celebrate the success of AccelerComm, a Southampton-based IP company specializing in optimizing the performance of 5G radio access networks. AccelerComm's innovative solutions correct mobile transmission errors caused by noise, interference, and poor signal strength, making them popular among mobile operators, telecoms equipment vendors, and satellite operators.
In a recent funding round, AccelerComm raised an impressive £21.5 million in Series B funding. The round saw investments from Parkwalk, Swisscom, Hostplus, IQ Capital, Bloc Ventures, and IP Group. This substantial funding will facilitate the company's global expansion plans, including team expansion and increased focus on the US market.
AccelerComm's CEO, Tom Cronk, expressed his excitement about the funding, emphasizing the company's position at the forefront of communication technology.
They have been collaborating with industry giants such as Vodafone, Intel, AMD, and National Instruments to supercharge communication systems. The continued support from investors and existing shareholders reinforces AccelerComm's commitment to rapid growth and innovative development.
