Before we convene in Las Vegas for Nexus 2024, make sure to join us for eLearning Day August 27 to explore advances made in the treatment of rare diseases.

What started as a way to continue providing quality education during the pandemic, AMCP eLearning Day 2024 continues to be a fantastic one-day opportunity for managed care pharmacists and professionals to receive quality, evidence-based, and unbiased education. 

In 2023, AMCP started the Patient Voice Initiative (PVI) to enhance patient engagement by healthcare decision-makers. The PVI is extremely valuable in managing rare diseases and improving access to care

Gain valuable insights from health experts on the value of hemophilia treatmentnavigating health disparities in sickle cell disease, and building relationships between patient organizations and managed care organizations. Recently, a group of affiliate leaders came together to establish a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering women with the necessary network, skills, and strategies to excel as leaders in managed care. This idea was officially approved by AMCP CEO Susan Cantrell and the executive board, leading to the inception of the AMCP Women's Integration Network (WIN). With more than 200 dedicated members already on board, we extend a warm invitation to all AMCP members, regardless of gender, to become part of the transformative AMCP WIN community.

Thomas Gigure joined AMCP in 2021 as a Senior Accountant after three years as an accountant the Association of American Universities (AAU) and Kastle Systems.

Thomas Gigure joined AMCP in 2021 as a senior accountant after three years as an accountant at the Association of American Universities (AAU) and Kastle Systems. Thomas graduated from Virginia Tech in 2017 with a dual degree in Economics and Biochemistry. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling internationally, and playing fetch with his dog.

Andrea Craddock serves as AMCP’s senior manager of education, bringing more than 10 years of experience in continuing education. She has managed diverse portfolios of educational programs at medical associations and government agencies, focusing on implementing innovative learning concepts and educational technologies. Andrea is passionate about designing engaging educational activities that enable medical professionals to enhance their careers while improving patient outcomes.
