Mission Moments
It is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily living... Schedules. Meetings. Spreadsheets. Graphs. Reports. In doing so, we risk losing sight of the bigger picture. What is our vision? Why is it important? What are we working towards? Why do we do what we do?
At CASA, we are launching a new email series called “Mission Moments.” Not because we think you want another message in your inbox, but because you need this message. It serves as a reminder of what matters. It is a celebration of what we can accomplish. It is heartwarming, inspiring and motivating with the power to break through the daily mundane.
May this new email series serve as a reminder of what we can accomplish, together, when we proactively and collaboratively speak-up for the well-being of our community's children. Sign-up to receive future Mission Moments and enjoy a snapshot of our very first ‘Mission Moment’ below:
Apollo is the first in his family to graduate early from high school... as a 16-year-old with a 3.5 GPA. This accomplishment -- after losing his mother, experiencing the ups and downs of his father's fragile recovery process, and living with emotionally abusive relatives -- feels extra significant.

It was also a first when we sat in the courtroom and heard the Judge collect RSVPs for Apollo's graduation. The Judge shared with Apollo, "This is a room full of people who want to help." And help we will, as Apollo makes plans to pursue a career in airplane mechanics.
