Spot on Ben. AI has significant potential, but if executive management and regulators don’t see you making efforts to identify and manage risk then there will be insufficient trust in the system to realise the value of the use cases it is applied to. Much in the same way that enterprise risk management frameworks need to adapt to the transformed types of risk that cloud infrastructure introduce, so the same is also true of AI. What’s more the nature of the risks are not always directly technology related. People, process, governance and control all need to adapt.
