The new ASIA Big Market

Bangkok, Thailand - Mr. Charles Lim, Managing Director, Asia and Ms. Shirley Tham, Financial Controller had visited Astralpool Thailand office. Mr. Charles and Ms. Shirley was scheduled visiting key customers and took this opportunity to meet Thai team.

During the visit, we had a chance to touch base and strengthen relationship with the Thai team through Townhall meeting and team dinner, while we can connect employees from Chiang Mai and Phuket branches virtually via Google Meet. The team got to know Asia key’s priorities as well as other Asia’s updates.

Under Thailand’s team leads by Mr. Suthee Wetchprukpitak, Managing Director, he had presented Fluidra Thailand activities and performances as well as a brainstorming session on local website and marketing. There was an opportunity to discuss and understand foundations of distribution business in Thailand which resulted not only in the 2nd top rank sales but also a most profitable business in Asia.

The pool market in Thailand is more mature than other countries in Asia. Beside distribution channel, Thailand team aims forward to build up new project pipeline for a stronger business in the future.

Charles also emphasized connecting between countries in Asia to develop marketing strategy at regional level, develop & retain talent people and strengthen Asia team for better collaboration.
