New Year Resolutions

People talk about the new year as a new opportunity. They would suggest to make resolutions for the new year, and to try hard to complete the same. They aren't wrong, a new year is like a new blank page, but is not the only blank page. Every day, evry hour, minute and second in our life have the same value, they all provide opportunities for us.

That's why if you made some resolutions this new year, its good. If you didn't, no problem. Remember, your resolutions are anything but decisions. For making decisions you don't need a special occasion. In fact, we make resolution every time we make a decision. So, just think what really need in your life, and make resolutions accordingly, anytime you want.

New Year is nothing but an ordinary day, just like the other 365/366 days of the year. The only difference is the way we use it. That's why I am not telling you to stop making new year resolutions. I just want to tell you that you don't need a new year for making resolutions, because it may be very late for some of your goals. If you think that you need a new year for your special decisions then you have got it all wrong.

This doesn't mean that you shouldn't try hard to complete to your new year resolutions. But, if you aren't completing your resolutions, then you are not taking any resolutions at all, and just following a tradition. If you really want to make a change, treat every available time as a new opportunity waiting to be availed.
