Oasys LS-DYNA 2023 Forward Outlook

I hope you all had a successful 2022 and a great start to the new year. Before we get too far into 2023, I'd like to take this opportunity to reflect on some of our milestones last year and highlight what you can expect from  Oasys LS-DYNA Environment  in the coming year.

Last year we released the Oasys Suite 19, the latest major update to our CAE suite. This release boasted a number of new features and improvements to increase model build and reporting efficiency, whilst creating more seamless integration of processes. It will soon be time for our next release - Oasys Suite 20 which will continue our legacy of comprehensive support for LS-DYNA through a variety of improvements and feature additions. These include improved support for human body models and IGA, tools to further integrate our pre- and post-processing capabilities, and enhancements to D3PLOT Viewer, our new tool for viewing and sharing LS-DYNA results on the web. We also have exciting new products in the pipeline to further empower your CAE experience, so please subscribe to our newsletter and YouTube channel to ensure you receive updates about these.

We value and enjoy every opportunity we get to speak with our customers, and have continued doing so throughout the last year, whether in-person, virtually or hybrid. We were delighted to relaunch our in-person Oasys LS-DYNA User Conferences in the UK and in India, and presented our latest developments at industry events such as the GHMBC User's Workshop in the US and the 16th LS-DYNA Forum in Germany. This year we look forward to hosting and attending many more events that will provide opportunities to meet and speak with you. Our calendar currently includes the Oasys LS-DYNA User Conferences in the UK (June 8th) and India (date TBC), the upcoming 25th Safety Summit held by SAE-China and more to follow. Other events will be added to the 'Events' page on our website.

Last year we developed our training resources to be more impactful and demonstrate how to leverage some of the different capabilities of the Oasys Suite. Our in-house CAE experts delivered courses ranging from Safety Restraint Systems (SRS) analysis to navigating our comprehensive Crash Test Setup tool. We're glad to see that our webinars are well-received, particularly in China where we reached over 1000 attendees throughout the year, and plan to continue developing more content for Oasys and LS-DYNA users.  

We also launched our customer insights programme in the UK, consisting of a series of interviews and surveys to collate your thoughts and opinions on our products and services. Thank you for supporting the programme, we hope you enjoyed the conversations as much as we did. In 2023, we will extend this programme to our clients in China, the US, India and Japan to get a broader understanding of our progress and shape our products and business to better reflect your needs.
