My name is Ofofonono Emmanuel Etuk, you can call me Ofon Emmanuel. From my name, you can tell that I’m from Akwa Ibom. A proud Annang babe from Okoyo, Ukanafun LGA who was born and bred in Port Harcourt and now lives in Lagos.

I'm rounding up my MBA on a fully funded scholarship at Quantic School of Business and Technology and will graduate next month.💃

I'm an alumnus of the Nigerian University of Technology and Management and Niger Delta University, where I bagged a postgraduate diploma in technology and a bachelor of arts respectively.

There’s a vast expression of myself through marketing communications professional, professional event hosting, and development practice.

As a MarComms professional, I’m at the center of communications from corporate to commercial. I develop and execute brand strategy and storytelling campaigns to help corporate organisations achieve their revenue goals. With over 5 years of experience in media, martech and fintech, I’m pretty confident about my skills and expertise in brand strategy and communications.

I'm a marketing mentor at adplist.org where I have mentorship sessions with entry-level professionals who are seeking some career clarity. I'm also a 2022 Coho Fellow on the Marketing Track

I'm the Head of Communications for Akwa Ibom Tech Week and lead comms for other amazing initiatives.

As a professional event emcee and compere, I deliver excellence at corporate and social events which includes hosting conferences, red carpets, moderating panel sessions and talk shows. Even hosting has been a natural talent that I have been intentionally honing and I bring along energy, class, and high audience engagement to ensure event success. Social impact has been the core of all my passions, thus my development path. I’m the founder of Femme Lead Africa, an initiative that creates capacity-building programs for girls and women. We have now impacted 5000+ women and girls through Information Education Communication (IEC) materials including the Dear Girl Book and 42 capacity development programs.

I have been blessed by people who have made sacrifices for me at different stages of my life from families, friends, acquaintances, and strangers, and I am super grateful to God for giving me access to people who stand for me, gift me, open doors for me, mention my name in rooms that matter and invite me to dignified tables.

I have amazing friendships and I love to be the ginger that inspires ambition for people around me. If I am your friend, you can't sleep on your dreams. My mantra: If I'm not impacting your life, you don't need to be in my space. I would like to be useful and if that's not happening, you should walk away.

I strive to live fully, indulging every gift and passion that God has placed in me, thus the many expressions of myself. My mind is like a computer with several tabs open. I would rather have it this way than do less.

As I add an extra year to my life, I only pray for one thing: that my light will shine so bright that men will not only see the good works and glorify the Father, but they will also see the light and it'll illuminate their lives; that they will become light themselves.
