The Orbea Fox Enduro Team welcomes Martin Maes

Competition, product development, and the search for victory are values we share with the Orbea Fox Enduro Team and all the brands that make it possible. Our new partnership with Martin Maes marks the start of a new journey together, a journey which we are sure will be long, fruitful, and full of exciting challenges.

The relationship between Martin and Orbea started a few years ago but it has taken time for us to reach a position where both of our resources and commitments allowed us to pursue our mutual goals and long-term ambitions.

As a Fox and Shimano ambassador, Martin was already very familiar with those products. However, before committing to this project, he has been performing extensive testing on the Rallon to ensure it is the right bike to meet our mutual goals – the ultimate weapon that we’ll use to conquer the Enduro World Series together.

But product isn’t the only thing that has brought our partnership together. As Martin’s relationship with Orbea has grown and he’s gotten to know the people that make up the brand, he’s learned about our cooperative philosophy and our values of hard-work and nonconformity. It’s a way of approaching racing and life that he can 100% identify with, and this ultimately solidified the link between the brand and rider.

As a member of the Fox Enduro Team, Martin´s primary focus will be reaching the top of the EWS, something that is of course a team effort. Martin will continue to take part in other disciplines, such as DH, always pushing hard, and testing our products to the maximum. Martin will also form an active part of our development and innovation team, helping us to drive our technologies and designs and develop the best products and solutions. At Orbea we believe that this is another important step on our continuing journey to offer the highest performance products across all disciplines.
