Very nice article! It brought up a very good point, the existing IT infrastructure need to be compatible. This is what I find to be a hard sell to investors. Our aim is to bring AI agents to complex scheduling processes of organisations. However, complex scheduling happens in spreadsheets (not calendars) so there are no API-endpoints to work with. So first we need to build the scheduling infrastructure, get the data, train the Agents, and then we have AI Agents to do the work.... so it's a process. Fortunately, value can be created even before that, but I've noticed that investors want to AI Agents right away 😅
