Our Outlook For Hospitals with Rescue Helicopters in Becker’s Hospital Review

 Despite the rising costs of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), rescue helicopters remain critical tools for hospitals around the country. As long as hospitals and rescue helicopter lessors use a combination of monthly maintenance programs and stricter air response guidelines, patients will no longer bear the brunt of unscheduled maintenance costs or fees from excessive use of air-based EMS over ground-based alternatives.

With the recent influx of new capital and providers in the EMS leasing space, Book and Weiser concluded prices of rescue helicopters are finally looking attractive for health care providers of all shapes and sizes.
