We are proud and honoured to have been awarded the prestigious RIBA MacEwen Award 2025 for the Severn View Park care home in Monmouthshire. The award recognises architecture for the common good, that benefits people, and makes the world a better place. Given our values as a practice, we could not be prouder of this achievement.
A national architecture award for Wales is incredibly rare and, in this case, the MacEwen award has never been awarded to a Welsh practice or project before.
We thank all who collaborated on making this special and unique scheme a reality. The care home combines wonderful architecture with a bold, innovative approach to dementia care, unlike anything else we know of. We thank the RIBA for their kind and passionate words on the project and invite you to read the article below. Finally, we thank the team at Monmouthshire Council for their bold vision and for giving us the opportunity to create something so special.
