Peoples Bank and Peoples Bank Foundation donate $25,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County

Marietta, Ohio, August 12, 2021 – Peoples Bank and Peoples Bank Foundation today announced a total donation of $25,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County. The funds will be used to assist with the construction of a new gymnasium, as well as a renovation of an educational room.

Rebecca Johnson, Executive Director and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County said, “We are pleased to partner with a community leader like Peoples Bank in the continued improvement of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County for the benefit of our youth. Their investment in our program allows the kids in the Marietta Area to have a safe, fun, and educational place to go when out of school. Their commitment to developing well-rounded adults is evidenced by donating to both our gym project and the Ed Room.”
