Phi Phi, Thailand our journey continues

Now on to Phi Phi, we opted for the Phi Phi Island. (the locals pronounce it PiPi Island) It is located in the Andaman Sea, about 40 kilometers southwest coast of the Thailand’s mainland. It takes approximately about 1 hour via speed boat to get there from the marina. These islands are part of the province of Krabi and are known for their stunning natural beauty, uber clear turquoise waters, and vibrant marine life. There are two main islands in the Phi Phi group: there is Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Ohhhhh mother nature does not disappoint - what she did with these is SPECTACULARLY GORGEOUNESS…
Let’s start with Phi Phi Don: This is the larger and more developed of the two islands. It's known for its lively atmosphere, with some hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops. It is in the Tonsai Village the main hub on Phi Phi Don. The Phi Phi Leh: it is smaller, uninhabited island is famous for its breathtaking Maya Bay, which was featured in the movie "The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. However, the bay was temporarily closed to tourists to allow for environmental recovery. However, when we where there they had just just opened it up to the public and WOWOWOWOWOWOW… it did not disappoint. Here we can walk around this island on small hikes or if one prefers to snorkel and or scuba-dive, or simply soaking it all in and just relaxing the spectacular beaches.
Oh, and another delightful surprise once on our way back to the mainland we came across Monkey Beach (sometimes referred to as Monkey Bay) they came out in droves … just loved it…
I’m telling it’s an excursion NOT to be missed.
