This week, we received our first Gen 3 cabinet. And it is elegant and simple.
The Gen 3 cabinet packs a lot of power and energy at seven feet. The two-cabinet PowerBloc® BASE™ has 70 kWh storage and 100 A of single- or three-phase power.
For large systems, cabinets are the way to go because they are much easier to customize or service. Each module can be inserted and removed without having to take the system apart, which is why we created bookshelves instead of stacking books.
The Gen 3 cabinet is also designed to combine into six, eight, or more cabinets without any external conduit. It all comes down to cable management, and the Gen 3 cabinet is a master at cable management.
The Gen 3 cabinet results from everything we have learned about building the perfect enclosure for power electronics and batteries.
