Massachusetts Senior Care Association Recognizes Alliance Health Employees with Scholarships and Prestigious Award

[Southborough, MA] - [11/6] - Alliance Health & Human Services is proud to share that four of our dedicated employees across our 7 Skilled Nursing Centers, have been honored with scholarships by the Massachusetts Senior Care Association . These scholarships recognize the exceptional commitment and contributions of our employees to the field of Long Term Care, and will help support our staff’s endeavors for further professional development and leadership skills.

The recipients of the Massachusetts Senior Care Association Scholarships are:


Each of these outstanding individuals has demonstrated a strong dedication to their work and has consistently gone above and beyond to provide compassionate care and support to our patients and residents. Administrator Susan Cornell of Alliance Health at West Acres reflected “Judith has worked full time for West Acres for 5 Years. In addition to her regular hours she picked up multiple shifts to help put her sister through Nursing School. Now it is her turn to attend nursing school and we were so proud when she was accepted to the LPN Program at Blue Hills. This scholarship is much appreciated and needed to help her attain her goal of becoming a nurse.” Her sentiments were followed by Administrator Madelyn Gannon, LNHA of Alliance Health at Baldwinville “I couldn’t be more proud for Amy to receive this recognition. Balancing a school schedule and work life is not easy and she makes it happen. I am thrilled to have her on my Team here at Alliance Baldwinville, and I’m thrilled for all of our recipients this year.”

Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that one of the award winners, Jacqueline Akinyi of Alliance Health at Rosewood was also honored with the prestigious Margaret “Peggi” Leoni Memorial Scholarship. This award is presented in the spirit of recognizing outstanding leadership and exceptional quality in long-term care. Jacqueline's unwavering commitment to the well-being of our patients and residents truly embodies the spirit of this award.
