Project for .NET developers and Automation QA engineers

The project is the development of a new platform for processing tax documents. The customer has several disparate platforms and some of them have duplicate functionality. The main idea of our project is to isolate this duplicated functionality into a separate application on the basis of which other applications will be built, and to reuse this common part on the basis of microservice architecture.

Our teams are working on creating a fundamentally new business logic of the project, using some of the customer's already existing developments.

The customer trusts us and plans a gradual growth of the project: 2 teams have already started, in the future there will be 8 teams or more.

• Workstream 1: 1 Business analyst, 2 Backend, 1 Frontend, 1 Manual QA, 1 Automation QA.
• Workstream 2: 1 Business analyst, 1 Backend, 3 Frontend, 1 Manual QA, 1 Automation QA.

Tech stack of the project:

Backend: .NET Core 5, EF Core, Azure/Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, Redis, ServiceBus - latest versions.

Frontend: Typescript, React, Redux, Redux-toolkit, Material-ui - latest versions.

Automation: JS, Cucumber, WebDriverIO, Allure - latest versions.

For Automation QA engineers the project will be interesting because it uses BDD methodology, there is an opportunity to get experience in WebDriverIO and Gherkin scripting. The project is managed in Azure DevOps - it's a good experience for those who haven't worked with these services yet. 

The processes are set up according to Scrum. The project has a friendly atmosphere, our teams have not experienced late meetings. Usually meetings are finished at 17.00, sometimes at 17.30 Polish time.
