Kia ora,

It's a pleasure to reconnect with you through our project updates. Over the past three months, ConCOVE has achieved significant milestones, completing several projects while we’ve also welcomed a new project, positioning us as wayfinders on the international stage.

We are delighted to announced that ConCOVE has been appointed as the lead organisation for UNESCO BILT project. This appointment recognises our contribution to reimaginging the future of vocational education. We’re thrilled to be delivering the project along with co-lead organisations - the Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches sur les Qualifications (Céreq) of France, and the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), and bring our innovative thinking to the international stage and collectively, deliver a better vocational education outcome for all.

Furthermore, I'm honoured to introduce our new Advisory Groups members. Apulu Alo Aliitaeao (TJay) Asiata joins the Pasifika Advisory Group, while Leeann Clark , Nicky Forsyth , and Suzanne Brotherton join the Women's Advisory Group. Their expertise will undoubtedly drive meaningful progress in our initiatives.

Looking ahead, I warmly invite you to join us for our Tūhura event in July. This event will provide a platform to discuss more than 10 ConCOVE project outcomes, covering topics such as the future of training, learning, work culture, and Māori success. Our Executive Director, Katherine, will also deliver a presentation on the UNESCO project and her recent trip to Germany and Italy. Your attendance is crucial as we collectively strive to reimagine the future of vocational education. Please register to attend.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this issue of Project Voices. Your feedback and new project ideas are always welcome. We look forward to hearing from you.
