THE PROMINENT REASON WHY COMPANIES OPPOSE REMOTE WORKING!
The fact that remote work does not suit everyone’s needs or personality type is one reason why companies don't want their employees to do it. Employees must be self-motivated when working in a remote environment. They must be able to complete tasks without relying on the mutual trust, friendship, and accountability of their co-workers.
Some companies find it difficult to grasp that staff can be in their pyjamas and still do a good job. They are concerned that the knowledge and skills acquired while working in an office will not transfer to working remotely, resulting in poor quality work and errors.
There is also a perception that working remotely reduces productivity. Those distractions are right in front of you. It is impossible not to check Facebook every two minutes. Then comes Instagram, followed by Twitter. Soon enough, an hour has passed, and you have accomplished nothing! Some claim that if employees are not closely monitored by their managers and co-workers, the quality of their work may suffer.

The crucial point is that not everyone can work remotely. Employees may believe they are the type of person who can work comfortably from home, but if they are easily distracted by their surroundings or require a boss to hold them accountable, remote work will not be for them.
