PTSD: A Struggle in Real Life
Perhaps no challenge is greater than that of those brave soldiers who have returned home to start over, only to find that there is a fire inside that they cannot put out. In our last post, we discussed the history and emotional symptoms of PTSD. This emotional battle within - known as PTSD - has affected thousands of America’s finest young men and women. Among them is Seth Kastle, an Army Reserve veteran, who served and endured two deployments in the Middle East.
Kastle is author of the book "Why is Dad so Mad?” a children’s book from a child’s and mother’s point of view on the struggles dad is having with PTSD.
A professor, father and veteran, Kastle shared with us his own story of struggle in this part one of two installments.
