Quillbot Wrote My Email for Me and Even Helped Me Improve it

I've been using Quillbot in Chrome for the last few months to help me improve my writing (grammar, spelling, word choice, reduce redundancy, etc).

Today, I went to draft a simple email to promote my AI Literacy course and it suggested I let Quillbot write it with a simple prompt.

So I tried a prompt:

Based on the simple prompt, it wrote --

It then gave me some options for revisions --

I made some manual changes and it gave me alternative word suggestions

and even some different ways of articulating what I was trying to say --

I ended up with --

It was almost ready to go, but I needed to fix a couple errors it identified in red --

Fixed :)

Similar tools are available in the New Bing and are coming to Google and Microsoft Outlook (as part of Co-Pilot).

It will be interesting to see how those tools compare. One thing I really like about Quillbot is that it will gives me these options and adjusts the text for me.

This is one simple thing teachers can learn how to do to both save time and improve the quality of emails they are sending.
