The Significance of SDG15: Understanding its Importance for All of Us.

#SDG15 focuses on protecting, restoring, and promoting the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, forests, and biodiversity. Here are 3 key reasons why SDG15 is crucial:

World Biodiversity Day!

And it seems like it was all about biodiversity this past month, but all in all, 31 days does not seem long enough to commemorate something so important. 

May 22nd was Biodiversity Day and we decided to work together with Terrasos to create valuable content, in which you could easily see the impacts of the El-Globo project in Colombia developed by them. It has been amazing to discover more about the species that inhabit this ecosystem and all the effort involved in protecting and maintaining the flora and fauna in these regions.

New Carbon Removal Project

We have an exciting new project to share with you! Take a step towards reducing your carbon footprint with this Biochar Carbon Removal project located in the USA.

The project utilizes decarbonization systems that employ pyrolysis to convert wood chips and sawdust into high-quality biochar, suitable for various applications. 

Moreover, it aims to prevent the release of CO2 emissions equivalent to that produced by 19,500 passenger vehicles driven for one year!

On the other hand, It contributes to 4 #SDG’s:

2 Zero hunger: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.

6 Clean water and sanitation: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
