Reflecting on Success and Embracing New Beginnings at CPRS Calgary

Dear CPRS Calgary Members,

As we look back on another successful year, CPRS would like to express our collective gratitude to our outgoing board members and extend a warm welcome to our incoming members.

First and foremost, CPRS Calgary extend heartfelt thanks to all the board members, who have diligently served the CPRS over the past year. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment have been instrumental in advancing our mission and supporting the professional growth of our members.

We are also excited to welcome our new board members. Your fresh perspectives and enthusiasm are highly appreciated. Your participation is crucial to the continued success of the CPRS community.

Additionally, we acknowledge the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 06, 2024, and special thanks to Megan Spoore, National Practice Lead for Corporate Affairs and GM, Edelman, for sharing informative insights from the 2024 Edelman Trust Barometer Canadian results. The AGM is a pivotal event in our calendar, providing a platform for members to engage and shape the future of our society. We appreciate the active participation and valuable contributions from all who attended. 

Looking ahead, we are currently seeking candidates for several key positions within the CPRS: Secretary, Student Representative, Sponsorship person, and Member at Large. We encourage members who are passionate about public relations and eager to make a difference to consider applying for these positions. Serving on the board is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the professional community, develop leadership skills, and expand your network.
