Reflections on 2 years in business. Starting up our Startup.

Wow. Bite IT Marketing turns 2 today! We will be celebrating this landmark day with fabulous cake, the ordering of which sent my daughters into spasms of laughter (not sure what’s so funny about asking the local baker for ‘A cake with large number 2 on the top’)

So, turning 2 warrants a few acknowledgements.

Huge thanks to everyone who has supported Bite IT marketing in reaching this significant milestone. The team here at Bite that pull together, grapple with the briefs and the deadlines, stay late and make me laugh every single day.

Huge thanks to our clients new and old who have entrusted us with some of the largest and most complex channel marketing projects of the last 12 months. With your support we have stretched, learnt and received the industry recognition we could only dream of 2 years ago.

Enormous and heartfelt thanks to Michele Lewington. You know why.

Here’s a few facts:

  • The Small Business Association states that 30% of new businesses fail during the first two years of being open, 50% during the first five years and 66% during the first 10.

We’d like to re-frame this.

  • 70% of new business succeed in the first two years of being open, 50% during the first five years and 44% during the first 10.

You know what? We like those numbers. They work for us. Here’s to the future.

We raise a glass today to all our clients and look forward to the continuing the Bite journey.

Congratulations V - a great success! Year 3 is notoriously the toughest, but Bite IT is a great team, so no doubt you'll continue that success form here.
