With the announcement in the UK yesterday, that the effective ban on onshore wind power generation, had been lifted, it got me thinking.

Why cant we incorporate an electricity pylon, into the design of a wind turbine?


That way we would take up less land.

We also could replace existing pylons, with a new design incorporating a wind turbine.

The result is more wind Turbines, but without necessarily using more land.

Thoughts?
