Rolls-Royce and Karimjee Group to power Tanzania’s industrial growth

Through its power systems division, Rolls-Royce has forged a strategic partnership with the Karimjee Group, a leading conglomerate in East Africa, to deliver cutting-edge mtu power solutions across Tanzania.

This collaboration is set to bolster the country’s energy infrastructure significantly, drive industrial expansion, and support its sustainable development goals.

Leveraging Karimjee Group’s nearly 200 years of experience and established market presence in Tanzania, Rolls-Royce will introduce the mtu brand’s full range of power generation systems, which are key to Rolls-Royce’s strategic focus.

Backed by decades of experience and total system expertise, mtu diesel gensets are designed for maximum reliability. They feature low fuel consumption, long service intervals, and low emissions.

The mtu portfolio is renowned for its high-performance power solutions, including diesel, gas, and battery systems. These systems are suited for critical energy demands such as standby and continuous power, combined heat and power generation, and microgrids.
