Ryan Nye, CSHO, Joins ID Logistics US as VP, Safety & Security

ID Logistics, an international leader in contract logistics, has hired Ryan Nye CSHO, as Vice President, Safety and Security for their entire US operations network. Nye will report to John Kettman, SVP, Operations.

Nye is a safety professional with over 20 years of expertise in developing, implementing, and managing safety programs across global organizations. He believes in achieving safety goals using a hands-on approach by understanding the business and interacting with all levels of the company gaining consensus for effective solutions. Nye’s core competencies include OSHA compliance and regulations, workers' compensation claims management, behavior-based safety, and process safety management.

As VP, Safety and Security, Nye will be responsible for the safety and security of all 5,200 associates, facilities, equipment, and our customers' goods and services.  

Before joining ID Logistics, Nye most recently worked for DB Schenker as their Senior Director of Safety, Americas. At Schenker, he managed all aspects of safety and compliance in over 100 locations in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and South America. Prior to that, Nye worked for AGRO Merchants Group, where he led a global risk team responsible for safety, quality, insurance, security, and compliance. Nye has built a professional reputation for best-in-class safety performance.

Nye received his Certified Safety and Occupational Health degree from Texas A&M University. Additionally, Nye is an active member of many professional affiliations including the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), the International Association of Refrigerated Warehousing (IARW), and a Certified OSHA 501 Trainer.
