Sarah Wilson joins Lead Candidate as Client Services Manager

With a growing client base in the US and UK, Lead Candidate recognised that it needed to bolster its team. Enter Sarah Wilson, who will join the team as Client Services Manager.

Sarah brings with her a decade of recruitment experience, working in partnership with organisations experiencing rapid growth who needed an expert partner.

Born in the UK before emigrating to Toronto, Canada, Sarah boasts dual citizenship. Now based, back in the UK, Sarah has enjoyed a successful and varied career. She started out as a Hair Stylist and Makeup Artist, before working in the cruise industry prior to transitioning into TV and Film.

With some prolific shows under her professional belt, Sarah worked across an eclectic range of programmes including British favourites - Dr Who, Coronation Street and Emmerdale alongside cult classics like Fat Friends and Cutting It.

Sarah is no stranger to rubbing shoulders with A-list celebrities having worked with the likes of Damien Lewis and Lulu and her work on Fat Friends involved working as the personal hair and makeup artist for James Corden. Sarah’s time in the industry involved numerous roles on feature films with productions from Paramount Films, West 11 Productions and Scala gracing her CV.

Stepping away from her work in the media, Sarah’s career took her on a steep trajectory when she pivoted into recruitment and selection, where she found a real niche for partnering with clients and building their teams in support of corporate goals and change agendas.

Leading on talent acquisition for roles including Head of Operations, Business Development Directors and Senior Account Managers, Sarah has a wealth of technical experience which will stand her in good stead to transition into the pharmaceutical and outsourcing space.

Lead Candidate continues to go from strength to strength having established partnerships with AES Clean Technology Inc. and INCOG BioPharma, the company recently announced exclusive partnerships with NorthX Biologics and List Biotherapeutics in support of their ambitious growth plans.

The new Client Services Manager role will add capacity to Lead Candidate’s growing team and will support the delivery of a range of unique talent acquisition and retention services to the company’s growing international client base.
