MadLogic digital future scenario’s
Together with its customers, Madlogic inspires, designs, develops and implements solutions that truly motivate and (digitally) support people and organizations in achieving their learning, change and performance goals.
But what does this mean now Covid-19 has confronted our society with unexpected and, moreover, very radical changes. More than ever, the way we learn, work and live has turned inside out. From our lecture halls, consultation rooms and offices, we have been relegated en masse to the kitchen table, where we have created a virtual workplace. For a moment that seemed fun, but most of us long for the old normal again, or a mix (hybrid) of the old and new normal.
However, no one knows exactly what the new normal will look like. What is certain is that digitization within the economy and society has accelerated since Covid and it will only increase. In anticipation of this, Madlogic has developed scenarios as the basis for a strategy that is future-ready and in which the human factor is central.
Based on the expectation that hyper-digitalization will characterize the 2020s, we anticipate two related scenarios: 1st the increase of the digital divide, and 2nd the increase in digital vulnerability. To counter those unwanted scenarios, we have researched and committed to opposite strategies:
1. "Digital Inclusiveness" which bridges the growing gap between the digitally savvy and digital laggards. If we don’t, these groups will fall apart and our society will become more and more "digitally divided". Digital inclusiveness is a social and economic need, which will only become reality by focusing on access, usability, motivation and IT skilling for everyone.
2. "Digital Resilience", as a safeguard for the security and availability of our systems and data. These are under pressure due to the rapid increase in highly advanced cybercrime in combination with an increasing dependence on (often still vulnerable) systems, sensitive data and ill-considered use of it. Just think of incidents with e-health, internet banking or online shopping.
By reversing the "Digital Divide" and "Digital Insecurity" scenarios, madlogic is paving the way for a future characterized by "Digital Inclusion" and "Digital Resilience". These reverse scenarios are at the heart of MadLogic's strategy. It sets the direction as well as the boundaries for further development and innovation of our organization, products and services.
