Siemens Gamesa has received certification for their 15MW SG14 236DD offshore wind turbine; 63 of those will be used offshore in the German Baltic Sea. The company is also expanding a blade facility in Denmark by about 400,000 square meters, to be used to store wind turbine blades. 

News surrounding Bill Gates’ TerraPower nuclear project in Wyoming gave Rosemary Barnes a chance to explain why, after saying that nuclear is a dumb idea for Australia, it's much better for the US midwest. NIMBY, or something else? Meanwhile in Wisconsin, EDP Renewables  is in a battle with the state over restrictive local wind ordinances.
