Solar Energy booming ..But there are Sunspots and they are getting darker

• Latest figure: World gets 6% of its electricity from the solar panels, equivalent to all the electricity consumed by USA in 1954! 
• Installed solar electric capacity is doubling every three years and is now growing  ten-fold each decade. It is nothing short of solar revolution!
• The next ten-fold increase in installed solar panels will be equivalent to multiplying the world’s entire fleet of nuclear reactors by eight in less than the time it typically takes to build just a single one of them.

What happens to the 'end of life' of solar panel ? .  The International Renewable Energy Agency warns that defunct solar panels could create up to 78 million tons of waste by 2050 if not recycled.
