Preserving Biodiversity: Dare to Change!

Given the unprecedented environmental challenges of 2024, we are called to deeply reflect on our impact on the planet. It is imperative for companies to fully embrace their responsibility in protecting biodiversity and reducing their carbon footprint.

At Solutions30, we believe that corporate social responsibility (CSR) and commitment to sustainable environmental practices are not optional but essential. When I realized the extent of our emissions, I made it a core challenge for our company because it represents a critical issue for the future. Since 2022, a passionate new ESG team has been dedicated to the transformations ahead.

Our company is committed to adopting significant measures to reduce our environmental impact. We manage our emissions in relative terms and are defining absolute targets with the help of an external consultant, EcoAct. These targets are part of our commitment to the SBTI, allowing us to strengthen our pledge to reduce our carbon footprint with concrete goals for a true environmental transition.

We firmly believe in the potential of technology to tackle this major challenge. Digital transformation offers opportunities to save energy and preserve natural resources. At Solutions30, we enthusiastically embrace the profound changes necessary to work towards a more sustainable future.

Strong Commitments for an Effective Ecological Transition

At Solutions30, we have identified three main sources of carbon emissions affecting our business: our daily operations, the electricity consumption of our facilities, and emissions related to our subcontractors. In our effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we particularly focus on optimizing the travel of our 16,000 technicians and adopting more eco-friendly fuels.

Energy is a major focus of our ecological transition. We are committed not only to reducing our energy consumption but also to improving energy efficiency for our clients, particularly through the deployment of electric charging stations and photovoltaic solutions. In 2023, we reinforced our commitment by investing in a specialized company based in Haute-Marne, dedicated to these technologies. Solutions30 is determined to play a key role in driving these essential initiatives for a sustainable future.

Because governance issues are a crucial element of an ambitious CSR policy, we have established a third-party verification process for our subcontractors and partners. This process takes the form of a compliance committee that ensures adherence to ethical values, transparency, and reliability. We know that the ongoing transformations are multifaceted, and it is therefore necessary to adapt with diverse approaches.

An Evolving Sector

Our industry is constantly evolving, and with it, the environmental challenges we face. We are seeing increasing demand from our clients for environmentally friendly solutions and the integration of COP21 goals into the SBTI. To meet these challenges, we have integrated ESG considerations into our corporate strategy, establishing a dedicated strategic committee and providing regular training to all our managers in 2023 and more targeted training in 2024.

Furthermore, the changes related to environmental issues also affect the various professions within our group. This is why we have launched initiatives such as the "safety quarter-hour," where our site managers stop work to educate our teams on crucial ESG topics, such as waste sorting and management. Additionally, we have undertaken to train all our future employees through mandatory online courses, ensuring that every member of our organization is fully engaged in our sustainability efforts.

Training is a major pillar of our CSR policy. We aim to best educate our teams, so they are aware of current issues and new practices. The transformation of our teams does not stop there; we are also committed to continuous improvement by recruiting young talent, increasing the number of women in our workforce, and reducing the number of accidents.

At this decisive moment, where every action counts, Solutions30 reaffirms its commitment to a greener and more sustainable future. We are determined to intensify our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, convinced that each step brings us closer to a better world. We will continue to develop our CSR policy, driven by the belief that technology can be a powerful catalyst for progress.
