SOLV Energy’s Internship Program Expects Significant Growth in 2025
At SOLV Energy, our commitment to shaping a brighter future doesn’t stop at our projects. Our annual Bright Future Internship program—now accepting applicants for Summer 2025—introduces students from four-year colleges and universities, community colleges and trade schools to the wide range of career opportunities available in the renewable energy industry.
The Bright Future program provides opportunities for interns to learn about our organization and the renewable energy industry through cross-departmental workshops with SOLV Energy teams, in addition to their role-specific experience. Interns are encouraged to build connections with their colleagues or other professionals in the industry.
Our recruitment process engages student populations throughout the country, with a particular focus on schools local to our jobsites. Through this targeted approach, our goal is to welcome motivated individuals with diverse backgrounds, fresh thinking and innovative ideas to the 10- to 12-week internship program.
“This summer, SOLV will welcome a historic companywide number of interns,” shared Rachel Syko, M.A , Talent Development Specialist and co-facilitator of the program. “We're extremely excited to see how the organization has stepped up to the call for more interns.”
In 2024, six interns worked with various teams across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. The program also included 1:1 mentorship engagement, which facilitated open discussions about career paths and opportunities in the renewable energy industry. This approach not only enhances the interns’ skills and work experience but also supports the industry’s workforce growth goals.
By the end of the program, half the group of interns accepted job offers at SOLV Energy because of their strong performance and dedication. Building on last year’s success, SOLV opened more than 30 onsite and full-time intern positions in various locations for Summer 2025:
