Sonepar Italia, a leader in electrical equipment distribution, has introduced the 2.0 version of its Automation Pro app at SPS Italia, the premier exhibition for smart and sustainable industry.

Held in Parma from May 28-30, the event showcased the latest advancements in automation and digital technologies. 

Automation Pro 2.0: Enhanced User Experience and Customization 

The Automation Pro app, designed for installers, operators, and energy managers working on automated machines and production lines, now features a revamped interface and a more personalized customer experience. This update aims to streamline operations and enhance user engagement, making it a vital tool for professionals in the field. 

Support for Transition 5.0 and Cybersecurity 

Sonepar Italia also unveiled innovative solutions tailored to the industry’s evolving needs. Leveraging its nationwide presence and newly structured Industry Business Unit, the company offers comprehensive advice on system upgrades and compliance with the latest market opportunities and regulations. 

As part of the Transition 5.0 plan, Sonepar is committed to helping companies reduce energy consumption. The plan includes incentives and training programs to boost staff competencies in energy transition. During the event, partners Schneider Electric and Kuka demonstrated robotics applications that qualify as investments under the government’s new incentives.
