Still think hi-res LED is too expensive?

We recently replaced video projection with high resolution (3.1mil) LED tiles for an annual meeting and awards event we have produced for the last seven years. Our budget was the same as previous years, so we had to see if we could use the technology for the same price as projection.

We are excited to say that times and cost have changed!

The brightness and clarity were amazing as was the reduced set-up time.

We teamed up with Creative Technologies to use their best, new tiles for the event and they did it at a very competitive price point. We also saw cost savings in rigging, labor and overall set-up time.

The three screens combined created a 110 ft. wide x 18 ft. high video canvas. The total resolution was 9080 pixels wide x 1280 high. The center screen was 5280 x 1280 and we used Adobe Stock 4k images to present beauty panoramas. Product shots were provided by the client in high res over 6000 pixels wide.

We built all the content in Adobe Premiere and After Effects in full screen resolution and outputted to Quicktime HAP format. (huge files) We used "Watchout" for all the content playback.

The results were spectacular!
