Support the Homeless

Homelessness in Jamaica has become a major social and economic problem. Thousands of the homeless are young men, young women and senior citizens who are on the streets.

Portland Rehabilitative Management (PRM) Homeless Shelter is a Non-Governmental Organization charged by Jamaica’s Portland Parish Council to provide food, shelter, medicine, and rehabilitative services to the homeless.

PRM's objectives include rehabilitating clients to better health and less dependence with the goal of returning them to their families and community, providing an environment that encourages better self-care and healthier lifestyles, living together more peacefully and learning cooperative social skills. PRM is the only homeless shelter on the Eastern part of the island, and opens its doors for more than half of the island. Participate in their mission to bring life-changing philanthropy to as many as possible.
