The Italian Sea Group announces that the Tecnomar Catamaran “THIS IS IT” has won the “Best of the Best 2024” award “Best Catamaran” at the prestigious Robb Report Awards. Which celebrate the best luxury products and experiences of the past 12 months in the fields of architecture, style, design, food, yachting, and technological innovation.

Award Ceremony Highlights

The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, 10th July, in Monaco at the prestigious Yachting Club. The event featured a jury composed of editors and experts across 15 categories—automotive, yachting, aviation, travel, style, watches, jewelry, food, wine, spirits, art, design, cigars, equipment, and residential building. Each category celebrated outstanding achievements in innovation, attention to detail, and the pursuit of perfection.

The catamaran’s inspiration draws heavily from technological advancements, diverging from typical yachting design to align more closely with civil architecture. The external lines, sinuous and soft, challenge our perception of what is truly possible, forcing us to completely rethink our aesthetic parameters.

Innovation, speed, and sportiness, hallmarks of the Tecnomar DNA, distinguish THIS IS IT as an exceptional catamaran. The engineering design process included a meticulous study of weight distribution, especially given the extensive use of glass in the project.

Interiors with Refined Details and Sophisticated Materials

The futuristic interior design of the Tecnomar THIS IS IT is enhanced with refined details and sophisticated materials. Leather and Alcantara, oak and teak are crafted into sinuous shapes, punctuated by decisive geometric cuts and grey marble inserts.

The dominant mood is dynamic, enveloping, and sporty, while the color palette is elegant and refined, with light tones of beige and platinum grey. The luxurious ambiance is further enriched by the use of three noble metals: gold, bronze, and titanium, contrasted with the natural calm tones of wood and leather.
