Testosterone got you down?

Testosterone got you down?

If you do a quick search of "low T" on the good ole www.google.com, you will find headlines that focus on the diagnosis and treatment of "Low T." However, what you won't find are the statistics that surround the real numbers of men suffering from Low T.

  1. There are approximately 200,000 cases of Low T diagnosed each year.
  2. 34% of men in the age range of 35-55 suffer from a diagnosed case of Low T.
  3. 51%-78% of Obese men suffer from hyogonadism (staggering to think about when 74% of men are classified as obese in the United States)

Another key point that is often disregarded in the discussion about Low T is Who Isn't a Candidate for Low T therapy...

  1. If you are looking to have children - Testosterone Therapy impairs sperm production
  2. If you are suffering from Sleep Apnea - Testosterone Therapy actually makes Sleep Apnea worse!
  3. If you suffer from an enlarged prostate - guess what, TRT will make it worse!
  4. High Blood Pressure...a study performed in 2014 found that men who are already at risk with high blood pressure and below the age of 65 have a 36% increase in risk of having a cardiac event when doing Testosterone Therapy

Now, you may be asking yourself, what's the point. The point is that the magic bullet you are looking for doesn't exist in the form of an injection. In fact, it is the exact opposite. If you have found yourself suffering from obesity - which is the number 1 culprit for instigating the transformation of testosterone into estrogen, then my suggestion would be to get off the couch, clean up your diet, and start moving some iron.

For those of you who don't fall into the percentile of men who are classified as obese, and find yourself suffering from Low T, I propose to you a different problem. A dysfunction of your nervous system. You see, in my private practice, I see men just like you each and every single day. As an upper cervical specialists, my only focus is on how your brainstem functions...

Okay doc...what does my brainstem have to do with my other head? It is super simple... your brainstem is responsible for a majority of the input into your hypothalamus - the small gland responsible for regulating the entire hormone balance of the human body including testosterone. If there is a breakdown or dysfunction of your brainstem, some if not all of your hormonal cocktail will be thrown off. This will manifest itself on our initial evaluation utilizing state of the art technology called computerized infrared thermography. Once we have found where the exact problem area is at, we will make specific recommendations to correct the biomechanics of the C1 vertebrae in your neck and ensure brainstem integrity is restored and proper nervous system communication is restored between your brain and body.

If you are a man, and you are entering the best years of your life, it only makes sense to get the status of your nervous system checked.
